Our Story
Amy was kind, generous, and a caring person well-known for the smile on her face and love in her heart. In January 2011 Amy Henslee, a young wife and mother from Hartford Michigan, was tragically taken from her family and friends due to a senseless act of violence.
Tradegy can sometimes take a toll on a community and it is never quiet the same afterwards. Thankfully since that time the community has pulled together in an effort to pick up the pieces left behind by this tragic act.
With that in mind, her friends and family wanted to keep her kindness alive by starting an organization dedicated to helping others in the community. Due to the countless efforts of our volunteers, Amy's Angels became a reality and has been making a difference ever since.
